Education needs to come up with smaller short term goals to have some achievements accomplished quickly.
RETS in a Box project

- decided that education workgroup should formally ask for funding of "template documents" to be developed for the toolkit. Chair to make request to Board

The outreach letter will become a postcard size document, mainly focused on publically announcing education@rets.org.

Troy mentioned a need to refocus the main RETS.org site to be better tailored to supporting the use of RETS, and relegate the workgroup or "inner working" information to more of a secondary information area. for example, the 1.7 spec that is loaded on the site still says "DRAFT" which could confuse new visitors.
Discussing how to address the RETS wiki page that lists the MLSs using RETS. it is a huge task that should be spearheaded by the Certification WG, but has enough work that could be split up among several groups to conduct the "interviews"
Kristen wants to rename RETS in a BOX. Preliminary new name is "RETS Toolkit"
Troy posted the 2004 and 2005 RETS surveys from Kevin McQueen
need to combine the MLS use of RETS needs with a "what do you need to know about RETS?" survey. Kristen suggested getting Clareity involved in executing the survey.

Action Items
1. Kristen as chair to request an RFP to be developed to have RESO get pricing on legal template agreements to be developed for free distribution. Do it via the RESO BOD GG.
2. Seth and Brian to come up with an outline of the contents of the RETS Toolkit project
3. Kristen to reach out to Mary Frances about handing the outreach postcard in exchange for help with the NAR RETS booth.
4. David to approach the Certification workgroup about taking on the MLS using RETS page and getting it filled out.
5. David to set up a Business Committee Call with Business BOD and Business WG chairs.
6. Troy to make a formal set of recommendations for a revamp of RETS.org and send it to bod@rets.org. Maybe post to education GG first for feedback.
