Action items for next meeting

1. Seth will get with Brian to work on a rough draft of the “RETS Toolkit”. Will post to the group.

2. Finalize email forwarding. Kristen will ask Chris Mckeever to make a change so that when an email is sent out, the from address will be education@rets.org.

3. Kristen, Seth, and David will tag team and showcase a variety of RETS products/applications. Still need more suggestions from group members. Seth can demo a wireless product and/or their Homes magazine.

4. Need a rough draft of the Outreach letter.

5. Troy to make a formal set of recommendations for a revamp of RETS.org and send it to bod@rets.org. Maybe post to education GG first for feedback. Will do this week.

6. David to approach the Certification workgroup about taking on the MLS using RETS page and getting it filled out.

7. David to set up a Business Committee Call with Business BOD and Business WG chairs.

8. Kristen as chair to request an RFP to be developed to have RESO get pricing on legal template agreements to be developed for free distribution. Do it via the RESO BOD GG.

9. Doug Fremming volunteered to go through the WIKI and find information that’s already been developed and combine it into a set of documents.

10. What are dates of the next RETS meeting and how much time is allotted to the Education group?

===============================
Kristen talked with Mary Francis about the survey. Kristen has a conference call scheduled with Matt Cohen to discuss the survey

Marketing will do the postcard, but Education still needs to make bullet points.

Kristen got information regarding the booth. Debbie Mayer will take care of getting the booth set up. Kristen will do the scheduling of booth duty.

There was previous discussion of a kiosk in the NAR booth, but it is only for specific hours.

Got RETS? T-shirts are still available because they were never used, but Kristen doesn’t believe that people will want to wear them. Suggests that everyone either wear name tags that say RETS or wear exhibitor badges.

Template Docs: Kristen talked with Myron and he said to get an estimate of how much it will cost. Kristen talked with Darity and she will provide them at the cheapest rate that she can. Mary Francis stated that she might be able to get them from TREND for free. Kristen suggested that we get the documents from TREND and have Darity review them and make them more generic. TREND has a different contract for every type of RETS use. Suggestion is to have one contract and to have attachments for each type of use.
